I.M.P.A.CT Wellness Center, INC. was founded in 2012 in the State of Nevada by Carolyn S. Pridgeon. Carolyn's entire vision was to create a safe place for children to express, learn, play , and grow; culturally and personally while overcoming life challenges. Carolyn actively works at the Center as Executive Program Director. She received her collegiate education, at College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, IL, (AAS) and University of Nevada Las Vegas, (BAS,). Her continued education include: Mental Health & Counseling, Substance Abuse, Criminal Justice, Educational Leadership.
Carolyn's work experience consists of 8 years’ experience providing direct care to children ages 3- 17 who are clinically diagnosed with a mental or behavioral disability and 10 years experience dealing with event planning and fundraising for organizations , and community based organizations on college campuses.
Carolyn has successfully created, managed and produced large revenues for business owners hiring her as a consultant to create therapeutic treatment programs for youth and families.
With all of her experience she enjoys, reading, Being actively involved in rebuilding broken communities and families. Most she enjoys being actively evolved in the development of learning programs for youth.A quote that guides Carolyn is "It takes a village to raise a child, but it takes a village to rebuild broken communities and help families achieve life changing goals and overcome major life obstacles".
